Books I’ve Read In 2015

Either I read a lot of brilliant books or I’m way too generous when I rate books… Anyway here’s a look back at all the books I read in 2015. 19 books in total! If you got any questions or just want to hear my opinion on any of these books, don’t hesitate to leave a comment.

/x of 2015 | Eldest (The Inheritance Cycle, #2) by Christopher Paolini | 5/5 stars | The plot was interesting & I was hooked from the first page. Even though it was slow sometimes & got a little boring, you can oversee it because when it gets intense, it’s intense. During some points, I may or may not have stayed up an extra hour just to see how it turned out | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Peter and Wendy by J.M. Barrie | 4/5 stars | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Beastly by Alex Flinn | 3/5 stars | It’s a good book, I really liked the idea & some of the characters were really interesting. What made the rating low is that it’s kinda slow in the beginning & it doesn’t really happen anything. The main character is a little too depressing for me – you know how in New Moon most of the time it’s just Bella walking around crying over Edward & you’re like “seriously can we move on already?”. It’s one of those characters. Those who like fairy tale retellings & romance is going to like the book, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Though it was a cute story & apart from the main character I liked all the other characters. Apologies to all Twilight fans who are reading this. | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi | 5/5 stars | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Paper Towns by John Green | 5/5 stars | This book left me mentally unstable for a few days. It completely blew me away. If you haven’t read it already, you have to pick it up right now! | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu | 5/5 stars | I loved the story but I didn’t agree with the choices the main characters made throughout the book. Both of them made my facepalm a few times (for real) but other than that it didn’t ruin anything for me. Like almost everyone else who’s read this say, if you love The Hunger Games you will love this book | Buy here

/x of 2015 | The Fault In Our Stars by John Green | 5/5 stars | Such an amazing book. Beautifully written & the characters are really funny as well as relatable. I believe I’m not the only one who cried through the last part of the book. The only thing I regret is that I should have picked it up sooner. | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Alice in Wonderland (Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, #1) by Lewis Carroll | 3/5 stars | Take it from me, if you’re going to read this book – do it in your first language. Otherwise, the amount of weirdness will confuse you… But other than that it was a fun read! | Buy here

/x 2015 (reread) | Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7) by J.K. Rowling | 5/5 stars | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick | 3/5 stars | I have a love-hate relationship with this book though I do recommend everyone to give it a try. It’s a very intense read & you’re literally on needles through the whole book. The concept is intriguing though I didn’t always agree with the main character. It didn’t necessarily ruin anything, it was just minor things that bugged me. Watch out for the plot twists! Seriously, they’ll give you a heart attack! | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote | 3/5 stars | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell | 5/5 stars | This is one of those books that if you mentioned it in front of me, I will sit there & go on & on about how amazing it is for hours & that would still not be enough. Such a funny, cute & realistic (etc. etc. etc.) read. The characters are amazing as well as relatable. Also, you know a book is good when it makes you laugh out loud & cry. Definitely one of my favourite books of all time | Buy here

/x of 2015 (re-read as 17/x for memory refresh) | Girl Online (Girl Online, #1) by Zoe Sugg | 5/5 stars | Unpopular Book Opinion Alert! I know a lot – & then I really mean A LOT – of people don’t agree with me on this, but I seriously love this book! It’s definitely not my type of book & normally I wouldn’t enjoy this kind of story. But the characters… I think that’s what made me love it so much. In my opinion, each & every single one is unique & everyone has something that makes you love them or makes you love to hate them. I do recommend everyone to at least give it a try, & not judge this book before you’ve read it. P.S. Can I have my own Noah? Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? | Buy here

/x of 2015 (reread) | Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant | 5/5 stars | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Hunger (Gone, #2) by Michael Grant | 4/5 stars | Still in love with this series but, this book was kinda slow & it took a long time for me to read (compared to the first one) | Buy here

/x of 2015 | The Lost Hero (Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan | 5/5 stars | Buy here

/x of 2015 | Girl Online: On Tour (Girl Online, #2) by Zoe Sugg | 5/5 stars | This book actually blew my mind! It was so amazing & unlike the first book, this one wasn’t predictable. Okay, you had somewhat of an idea how it probably would end, but then the plot twists came… I’m so in love with this book & I’m going to convince everyone I know to give Zoe’s writing a chance. & can we just take a second to talk about Noah?! Once again I’m amazed by how Zoe can make you love & adore him one second & then two or three chapters later you nearly hate him. So in love with this that I have no idea what I’m saying right now; go read this book! | Buy here

/x o 2015 | The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, #2) by Rick Riordan | 5/5 stars | Buy here
